
Mexico City will experience extreme temperatures this Tuesday, March 11, 2025. According to the Secretariat of Integral Risk Management and Civil Protection of Mexico City (SGIRPC), a warm environment with clear to partially cloudy skies is expected in the capital.
The maximum temperature will be 28 degrees at 3:00 PM in the Venustiano Carranza borough, then it will decrease and reach a minimum of 13 degrees by midnight. No rain is expected, but strong gusts of wind may occur. For Wednesday, March 12, a cool to mild dawn with clear skies and haze is expected. During the afternoon, a warm environment with temperatures from 28 to 30 degrees and minimums of 12 to 14 degrees is forecasted, accompanied by gusts of wind of 40 to 50 km/h.
On Thursday, March 13, dispersed cloudiness and haze are anticipated, with a warm environment and no rain throughout the day. A rapid increase in temperatures is expected due to anticyclonic circulation, maintaining a low probability of rain. Recommendations are issued due to high temperatures, such as not eating on the street, not leaving children or elderly adults in vehicles, washing fruits and vegetables, and protecting oneself from solar radiation.
Ultraviolet radiation indices have reached extremely high levels, requiring special protection, such as the use of sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and staying hydrated. The National Water Commission (Conagua) forecasts maximums of 28 to 30 degrees and minimums of 13 degrees for this Tuesday, March 11, in Mexico City.
